GENUINE LIME BASED PAINT
Lime Wash is an authentic and versatile mineral based coating that can be used in a variety of ways, such as, lime washing, fresco painting, and suede tone finishing. Our lime based paint is intended for interior and exterior use on a variety of surfaces such as as drywall, brick, stone, concrete, plaster, or previously painted surfaces. Lime Wash is a highly stable product with great workability features and is vapor permeable as well as bacteria and mould resistant.
Method of Application: Our Lime Wash product can be applied in a variety of different ways, depending on the desired finish. For trowel application, apply two/three coats of Lime Wash using a stainless steel trowel. The final coat can be burnished for a semi-glossy appearance. For brush application, apply two/three coats of Lime Wash with a professional grade brush using a criss-cross technique. For sponge trowel application, apply two/three coats of Lime Wash with a sponge trowel using a circular motion until a cloudy look is acheived. The sponge trowel method of application is not intended for a full coverage finish, it is intended to accheive a washed out, cloudy appearance.
Spread Rate: 35 to 50 Sq. ft. per Quart.
